After a long and drawn out saga, Scotland's Kenny Anderson, 17-1 (12), will finally get a chance to get fight for the vacant British super middleweight title against former world champion Robin Reid, 42-7-1 (29), on October 20th in Sheffield.

Anderson has been craving a rematch with former champion George Groves since their mini war for the Englishman's Commonwealth title in 2010. Since then injuries to Groves and additional postponements have put the much-anticipated rematch on hold. There is no confirmation yet as to whether Groves has vacated the title or has been stripped.

Anderson v Reid, each possessing genuine punching power, will be part of the undercard to Kell Brook's final eliminator for the IBF world welterweight title against Hector Saldivia.
