Home Depot Center, Carson, California - former champion Kelly Pavlik (40-2, 34KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Will Rosinsky (16-2, 9KOs). The scores were 97-92 and 98-91 twice.

Pavlik was having issues in the first round with Rosinsky's movement. Rosinsky did well to keep his body low in order to avoid Pavlik's big shots. He also threw much faster combinations, which frustrated Pavlik.

However, it clear early on that Pavlik was not bothered by any of Rosinsky's punches. In the second, Pavlik caught Rosinsky on the inside with a well timed hook to score a flash knockdown.

In the fourth round, a cut opened up above the right eye of Pavlik. It likely occured when their heads came together on the inside.

As the rounds played out, Pavlik was basically walking Rosinsky down and doing most of the hard work. Rosinsky would attempt to steal rounds by throwing punches in bunches in the final minute, but not many of the punches were doing damage.
