The talking is over and the fight is less than 24 hours away. Undefeated mandatory challenger Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) is ready for his big moment when he takes on IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) at the Stubhub Center in Carson, California.

"I'm really excited now," he said to Sky Sports. "I've come over here and I can already feel the buzz in the air. I've done the hard training and it's time for me to get in the ring and show the world that I am the best.

"I think at times it will end up in a dog fight in there but I am a more polished boxer and I'm ready to do dog-fight... I'm ready to do anything to get the win."

Brook believes this fight, particularly a win over Porter, is the perfect way to introduce himself to the American audience and to launch himself to the elite level at welterweight.

"Victory this weekend gives me a world title which will open the doors at the elite level of the sport... something I have always wanted," Brook said.
