Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield - Making the first defense of his IBF welterweight title, Kell Brook (34-0, 23KOs) crushed mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan (34-3, 18KOs) in four rounds. It was an unexpected one-sided contest where Brook simply overwhelmed Dan.

Brook started fast, outboxing Dan and scoring a knockdown in the second with a big uppercut. Dan beat the count and quickly went down for a second time from a series of shots. Dan did all he could to survive until the bell. Dan tried to regain some ground in the third, but he was getting rocked by every big shot that connected.

In the fourth, Brook dropped Dan for a third time with a combination in the closing moments. In final few seconds of the same round, Brook dropped Dan for a fourth time with a massive left hook.

Dan's corner stopped the fight at the end of the fourth round.

In an IBF International middleweight title clash, Sergey Khomitsky (30-11-3, 12KOs) crushed previously undefeated Adam Etches (18-1, 15KOs) with a one punch knockout in the fourth. Etches was doing very well in the first few rounds, but a single counter right hand dropped Etches hard on his back and he was seriously hurt. The referee did not even issue a count, quickly waving off the contest.

In a battle for the vacant European super bantamweight title, Gavin McDonnell (13-0-2, 4KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Oleksandr Yegorov (13-1-1, 6KOs). It was a close pitched battle that saw McDonnell start strong and taking an early lead, but Yegorov rallied hard in the last few rounds to turn the tide but it wasn't enough to get the decision. The scores were 117-111, 118-110, 118-109.

Welterweight contender Frankie Gavin (22-1, 13KOs) had a stay busy victory with a ten round decision over Bogdan Mitic (20-7, 13KOs). The sole score was 100-90.

In a tougher than expected contest, rising flyweight prospect Kal Yafai (14-0, 9KOs) fought his way to an eight round decision over Cristofer Rosales (10-2, 7KOs). The sole score was 79-76.

Super featherweight contender Stephen Smith (20-1, 12KOs) has recovered from injury and made his return to the ring, winning a six round decision over Jacek Wylezol (11-9, 6KOs). The sole score was 60-53.

Featherweight prospect Jordan Gill (13-0, 2KOs) continues his streak of wins with a boxing clinic over Barrington Brown (6-10-3, 2KOs) to gain a six round decision. The sole score was 60-54.

Opening up the show, Leigh Wood blasted out Laszlo Feketas in a single round.
