Heavyweight Justin Jones, 14-0 (9 KOs), won a six-round shutout over Stacy Frazier, 14-9 (13 KOs), at the latest Savarese Boxing Promotions card at the Houston Club. While Frazier was the nephew of the legendary Joe Frazier, it was Jones who utilized Smokin Joe's sweeping left hook - albeit a sloppier, less explosive version - as his primary weapon all night. Ironically, it was a straight right to the chin that dropped Frazier for the only knockdown of the fight in the fifth round. Jones had returned five days ago from Austria where he was serving as sparring partner to Vladimir Klitschko.

Switch-hitting light heavyweight Cedric Agnew, 21-0 (12 KOs), dropped Mikel Williams, 8-26-4 (3 KOs), three times before stopping him in the second round. Agnew fought right handed for the first round without much success but as soon as he turned southpaw in the second round, he simply couldn't miss with the left cross and uppercut.

Junior welterweight KC Martinez, 9-1 (6 KOs), returned from his first loss by methodically breaking down fellow southpaw Robert Hill, 3-15 (1 KO), with a sustained body attack before stopping him in the fourth round.

Southpaw Cleotis Pendarvis, 13-3-2 (5 KOs), counter-punched his way to a fifth round TKO victory over Fernando Rodriguez, 6-9 (3 KOs), in a scheduled 10-round welterweight bout.

Welterweight southpaw Joel Baglio, 3-0 (2 KOs), relentlessly hammered Isaac Rios, 0-1, with straight lefts to the head and right hooks to the body in the second round, prompting Rios' corner to toss in the towel.

Heavyweight Steven Moreno, 5-1 (5 KOs), dropped Joey Spence (record unknown) twice with uppercuts en route to a first round stoppage.

The card will be aired by Fox Sports on Dec. 17.
