Mexican star Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40KOs) is still very upset with Saturday twelve round split decision loss to WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12KOs) at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Two judges sided with Bradley, giving him the win with scores of 115-113 and 116-112. The third scored the fight for Marquez with a tally of 115-113. Marquez felt two of the judges robbed him of a win.

"These kind of decisions hurt boxing and make people walk away [from the sport]. The judges denied me the welterweight title in 2011 and they have done so once again. I can't win a decision in Las Vegas, the only way I can win in Las Vegas is by knockout. My wife didn't want me to take the Bradley fight, [she wanted me to retire], so I have to speak to her and my family and make a decision on what I plan to do next. I felt good in the fight, but I've been saying that I might retire after the Pacquiao fight [in December 2012]. We'll see what's going to happen in the future," Marquez said.
