Leeds - In an IBF featherweight eliminator, Josh Warrington (25-0, 6 KOs) stopped previously undefeated Dennis Ceylan (18-1-2, 8 KOs) in the tenth round.

The fight was fought in even terms in the early rounds, before Warrington took full control as the fight professed forward. Ceylan appeared to be fading in the second half of the contest and not throwing enough punches to turn the tide - with Warrington dominating.

During the tenth, as series of punches sent Ceylan down hard. He barely made it up. Warrington followed up with another series of shots to send Ceylan crashing for the second time, and he was unable to beat the referee's count as he struggled to get up on very unsteady legs.

Warrington now moves forward to a world title shot against undefeated IBF champion Lee Selby.

In the co-feature, Jack Catterall (19-0, 10 KOs) picked up the biggest win of his career so far, with a dominant twelve round unanimous decision over Tyrone Nurse (35-3-2, 7 KOs) in their British super lightweight title bout.

The scores were 115-114, 118-111 and 116-113.

The last time Nurse tasted defeat was back in 2014 in shock loss to Dave Ryan. Since then, he went without a loss in his last eight outings in the ring.

Zelfa Barrett recorded a fourth round stoppage of fellow Mancunian Chris Conwell in what was an all Moston derby.

The contest began with a very good opening round, as both fighters look to establish their dominance, but it was Barrett who was the flashier of the two. 'Brown Flash' worked well off his jab as he controlled the range from the outside.

Conwell came forward in the early stages too, applying solid pressure of his own to his fellow Mancunian. Barrett was doing the better work however Conwell was giving an excellent account of himself.

The end came after 2.20 in round number four after Conwell failed to beat the referees ten found after the latter of two knockdowns. Both knockdowns came from perfectly placed left hooks to the body.

Barrett picks up the English Super Featherweight title and will likely look towards the British title next, while Conwell will definitely come again.
