On December 31st at the Yokohama Bunka Gym, located southwest of Tokyo, the capital of Japan - Undefeated Takashi Uchiyama (17-0, 14KOs) will defend the WBA's super featherweight title against Jorge "Coloradito" Soli s(40-3-2, 29KOs).

Solis is very confident and dedicated the fight to his deceased father, who passed away on May 16th. Solis arrived to Japan on the 24th of December and he was surrounded by his beautiful family, his wife and two children. His brother  Eder Solis and the two coaches, Willy Brook and Victor Manuel Martinez, also made the trip to Jorge Solis.

"I am very motivated and excited about this fight. I'm going to give  agreat performance. When the morning time hits, I'm going to the event and I plan to show everyone the true Jorge Solis in the ring. I came to Japan from a country that is very far away, Guadalajala, and I arrived being full confident of getting the victory," Solis said.

Jorge Solis and Takashi Uchiyama agreed to use 8 ounce "Winning" brand gloves, which are manufactured in Japan. The fight will be broadcast on Japanese television and radio. The referee will b ePuerto Rican Roberto Ramirez Jr. - and thre three judges will be Rafael Ramos of America, Levi Martinez of America and the South Korea's Yuh Wna-soo.

Uchiyama will make the fourth defense of the title that he conquered in November 2010 with a TKO win in the twelfth round over Mexico's Juan Carlos Salgado, which took place in Tokyo.
