MORE LIVE RESULTS TO COME..................

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas - Puerto Rican knockout artist Jorge Melendez delivered a highlight reel ending with an emphatic 4th round knockout of Ryan Davis. Melendez (26-2-1, 25KO) scored knockdowns in the third and the fourth, the latter providing the end of the fight courtesy of a savage right uppercut early in the fourth. Davis (24-10-3, 9KO) was down and out, with the fight waved off at 0:13 of round four.

Jeffrey Fontanez improved his record to 11-0 by defeating Daniel Attah (27-14-1) via unanimous decision. The scores were 60-54 twice and 59-55. Fontanez controlled the pace of the fight with his jab. Attah has faced a lot of top fighters in his time but appears to be severely past his prime.

Thomas Williams (13-0) opened up the SHO Extreme telecast with a knockout victory over veteran Kevin Engle (20-8) in their light middleweight bout.  The stoppage occurred at the 1:31 mark of the 3rd round.  A right hand to Engle's head kncoked him off a balance and a combination sent him to one knee and referee Tony Weeks wisely halted the action.

Mayweather Promotions prospect Luis "Cuba" Arias (4-0) knocked out Arsenio Terrazas at the 1:55 mark of the first round with a left hook to the body that was reminiscent of his knock out last week on the Cornelius Bundrage-Ishe Smith undercard.  Arias has picked up three wins over the past 30 days, a pace almost unheard of these days in boxing.

Welterweight prospect Sammy Vasquez Jr. (7-0) made quick work of Leandro Albornoz (15-3-1), knocking him out at the 2:17 mark of the 2nd round. The Argentine had far more experience than his Mexican-American opponent but was severely outclassed.
