John Murray's trainer Joe Gallagher says his fight on Saturday will be like a spin of the roulette wheel.

Murray takes on Karim Ouzaghari at York Hall, defending his European lightweight title.

And Gallagher has warned that Murray faces losing everything - including a world title shot - if he blows the fight.

"Just like a gambler at the casinos in Las Vegas, the stakes keep getting higher and John keeps going all in," said Gallagher in his column for the Manchester Evening News.

"If the right cards come up, the rewards are massive. If they go the other way, he’s bust.

"That’s the nature of the game at this level and if John wants his world title shot, he’s got to keep on winning.

"At York Hall on Saturday he has the chance to show the world what the people of Manchester have known for a long time – he is the real deal.

"Ranked No2 by the WBC, sooner or later that world title chance is going to come. In my 10th year as a trainer I’d love it to be in 2011.

"There are so many fighters competing for the crown of being the next Ricky Hatton, but no-one fits the bill better than John.

"Everything is in place for him to become the world champion that I know he will be."
