MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Middleweight contender J'Leon Love (16-0, 8KOs) had to get off the foor to win a close ten round split decision over Gabriel Rosado (21-7, 13KOs). The scores were 95-94 for Rosado, a ridiculous 97-92 for Love and 95-94 for Love. The crowd was not very happy with Love winning.

The first round was pretty slow, but Rosado connected well at the end of the second. Love was boxing well with Rosado coming forward and applying a lot of pressure. In the sixth, Rosado was landing well with both hands and dropped Love hard with an overhand right in the final ten seconds. Love came back well in the seventh, with both fighters landing punches. Love had a strong eight with a few big punces connecting in the final ten seconds. After Love was winning most of the ninth, Rosado came on in the final minute with several crushing punches that rocked Love. The tenth was close and could have went either way.
