In June, middleweight contender J'Leon Love (15-0) was suspended for 6 months and had his win May 4th win over Gabriel Rosado changed to a no-contest as a result of his testing positive for a banned diuretic.

The fight between Love and Rosado was very close and ended in a split decision before being overturned.  Some fans and members of the media questioned the final tallies and felt that Rosado had done enough to leave the ring with the victory.

Love recently spoke to BoxingScene.com and said that he wouldn't have a problem with facing Rosado again. In fact, he said that the first fight was so good that they should do it again.

"I would love to have a rematch.  Why not? If people question it.  Whether I won or he won, or it was a draw or whatever the case, I'm here. I'm a fighter man. Let's do it again. Let's make it happen again," Love said while praising Rosado for his spirited performance. Love would like to have the rematch to clarify who should be considered the winner.

"You're a great fighter and I'm talking here to you Rosado. Not taking away from your performance.  You did a great job and put on a good fight for the fans. No more talking shit let's just make it happen again. Let's get a final decision and make it happen again. I'd love to do it again. That's for the boxing fans."

The 25-year-old Love accepts full responsibility for taking the diuretic and admits that he didn't realize how dangerous Furosemide can be. He said that he will put on a much better performance in a rematch if it comes to fruition.

"It doesn't (enhance your performance). A diuretic actually drains your body of the fluids in your body and it can actually kill you.  That's why it is a banned substance. At the end of the day it actually took away from my performance instead of help my performance. Its not PEDs.  Its a banned substance because it can kill you. If I knew the pills were such a serious thing I wouldn't have taken it.  It is what it is and I did take it. I take full responsibility for it," Love told BoxingScene.com.

Love finished our conversation by reiterating his desire to set the record straight against Rosado.  He said that he would love to clear the air and eliminate any doubt that some fans may have.

"As far as the fight I would love to clarify and have a real winner.  Some boxing fans might say I won and some of his fans may say that he won. Whatever the case. If it's like that then let's do it again. And it was a hell of a fight. It was a great fight. I'm a fighter. He knocked me down and I got back up and came back stronger. Whatever it is, it was a good ass fight for boxing," Love stated.
