Mexico's Jesus "Negrito" Silvestre is finally going to get his crack at undefeated Ryo Miyazaki, the WBA's stawweight champiuon, on September 7th at a venue to be announced on Japanese soil. Silvestre is the WBA's current interim-world champion.

Silvestre (27-3, 20 KOs) will fight for the third time in Asia, as he previously fought in the Philippines and Thailand. Miyazaki (19-0-3, 11 KOs). Miyazaki won the title last December with a split decision over Pornsawan Porpramook. He then made his first defense in March and knocked out Carlos Velarde in five rounds.
