Gila River Arena, Glendale, Arizona - In a bout aired on ESPN3, lightweight contender Ivan Redkach (19-1) bounced back from his first career loss with a stoppage victory over Erick Martinez (11-3-1). Redkach dominated from the opening bell and dropped Martinez at the end of the third round with a right left combination. Martinez was counted out by the referee.

Local favorite Alexis Santiago (19-3-1) picked up another victory by defeating Gustavo Molina (10-8) by unanimous decision in their super bantamweight bout. Both fighters exchanged power punches throughout the bout but Santiago had the better defense and footwork to cruise to the victory. The final scores were 80-72, 79-73 and 78-74.

Mayweather Promotions' Kevin Newman (4-0-1) notched his 4th victory as a professional by outpointing Jay Williams (3-8) of Louisiana. Newman dropped Williams in the 2nd in route to the wide points victory.

Lionel Thompson improved to 16-3 with a second round knockout of the badly overmatched Thomas Hanshaw  (6-7). Thompson dropped Hanshaw Kate in the 2nd round but he was able to rise to his feet and survive to remaining 20 seconds in the round. Hanshaw did not answer the bell to start the third round.
