After a successful weigh-in process by both Terence Crawford and Julius Indongo, the undefeated champions are now ready to focus on their historic 140-pound unification bout.

The fighters are facing off at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, serving as the main event of a Top Rank promoted card televised live by ESPN tonight (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT).

Yesterday’s weigh-in had an exciting atmosphere that culminated in a tense stare down between Crawford and Indongo after both athletes did their share on the scale.

The roughly 60 seconds long face-off ended after the fighters started shoving one another with their foreheads. During the heated moments, a scuffle broke out between teammates of Terence and Julius that lasted another 30 seconds.

”It was a very long and tense face off. We are highly excited because you can see both fighters want this very much and I believe this will be a great fight. I was just trying to control the situation after Crawford pushed Julius and one of the guys from Crawford’s camp started to push me and I told him ’take it easy, the fight is only tomorrow’. Anyway, I believe the tension between the camps was just good for the promotion of the event,” said Nestor Tobias, manager of Indongo to BoxingScene.com.

The teams met shortly after the incident at the rules meeting and settled their differences in an intelligent way.

”After the weigh-in we went to the rules meeting and we were cool with each other and we shook hands and wished each other good luck for tonight. We are professionals and we know where to stop as we have to protect the sport of boxing.”

According to Tobias, Indongo is a hundred percent ready and focused on tonight’s bout where all four major world title belts are at stake for the winner.

”Julius is very confident. He is a humble, soft-spoken man, who is physically and mentally ready for tonight’s big fight. He was 139.8 pounds on the official scale yesterday and has gained about 8 pounds by this morning. At fight night he will be around 150 pounds.”
