Hughie Fury returns on September 27 in Sheffield against Christian Thun.

Fury is 28-3 (16 KOs) and the 29-year-old heavyweight, from Manchester, will headline a GBM Sports show at the Canon Medical Arena.

It is Fury’s third date of the year, following a six-round win over Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko and a second-round stoppage of Patrick Korte.

Fury-Thun will be on DAZN.

The Miami-based Thun, who stand 6ft 8 1/2ins, is 9-1 (7 KOs), and Fury is trying to position himself for another big run, having boxed the likes of Joseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin, Samuel Peter, and Kubrat Pulev.

Thun took two years off after the first loss of his career, via majority decision over eight rounds with Curtis Harper, and he scored a third-round stoppage of journeyman southpaw Jason Bergman in Florida in January.
