The always well informed Bild Zeitung writes that IBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck (39-3-1) will defend the title against dangerous Brit Ovill McKenzie (25-12-1) on September 24 at the Festhalle in Frankfurt / Main.

It will be Huck´s first defence of the title he won in February by stopping Ola Afolabi in their fourth and final battle.

McKenzie drew against then IBF cruiserweight world champion Victor Emilio Ramirez in October of last year and was then in line to fight for the vacant EBU title but pulled out due to illness.

Bild also writes that it´s likely that WBA regular light heavyweight champion Juergen Braehmer (48-2) will defend the title against Nathan Cleverly (29-3), who previously held the WBO world title at 175-pounds.

The date of September 17 was mentioned with no site revealed. Braehmer has spent a lot of time in the gym of lately training super middleweight contender Tyron Zeuge and last fought in March when he beat Eduard Gutknecht.

Cleverly lost to Andrzej Fonfara in his last fight in October of 2015 in what was considered to be a 'Fight of The Year' candidate and has in fact lost two of his last three.

Neither fight are officially confirmed by Huck Box Promotion or Sauerland Event respectively.
