Former world champion Marco Huck (38-3-1, 26KOs) has a special motivation as he continues to train for his upcoming fourth meeting with Ola Afolabi (22-4, 11KOs).

Their fight takes place on February 27th at the Gerry Weber Stadium in Halle, Germany.

All three of their previous bouts were very close and full of action. Huck won a twelve round unanimous decision in their first bout in 2009. They met again in 2012 and fought to a twelve round draw. The third bout was held the following year, with Huck winning a close twelve round majority decision.

For this fight, things are very different. Huck's back is against the wall and the German star is in dire need of a big win.

In his last fight, he lost his WBO crown when he was knocked out in eleven rounds by unbeaten Pole Krzysztof Glowacki in August. It was the first loss for Huck as a cruiserweight since 2007.

This time Afolabi is the champion, with the IBO title around his waist, and everyone is expecting fireworks in the fight.

Huck feels that he has something to prove to the critics, to show them that he's not washed up and still one of the best at cruiserweight.

"I want to bring a world title to Germany," Huck said. "I believe that I have the advantage because I've beaten him twice already, so I'm going to put this advantage to use. I want to shut the mouths of the critics and show them that I'm back to where I belong - on top as a leading world class fighter."

RTL will broadcast the fight live. Dethroned heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has an exclusive deal with the network and helped Huck secure the TV deal.

"It is a great honor that such a great champion supported me," Huck said. "Klitschko will sit ringside as an expert analyst on the night of the fight."
