Sauerland Event stages a big show at the Fraport Arena in Frankfurt on February 4. In the headliner IBF cruiserweight champ Yoan Pablo Hernandez face "USS" Steve Cunningham in a rematch of their controversial first fight where Hernandez got a technical points win on a dubious cut eye stoppage. Cunningham was heavily floored in the first but got up, survived and appeared to be on his way to a win when the ringside physician called it off due to cuts suffered by Hernandez.

In the other featured fights cruisers Enad Licina and Aleksander Alexeev square off for the vacant EBU title. Licina is the house fighter but the talented Alexeev, from Russian but based in Hamburg and promoted by E C Box Promotion, must be regarded as a clear favourite to win the title left vacant by Alexander Frenkel.

Finally, EBU light heavyweight ruler Eduard Gutknecht defends the title against Ukrainan Vyacheslav Uzelkov.

It´s the first Sauerland show in Frankfurt / Main since May of 2000.
