WBA, let me see, interim middleweight champ Hassan N´Dam will defend his portion of the title on April 2 against Giovanni Lorenzo in Le Cannet, France. Light heavyweight Denis Simcic defends the WBF Int´l title against Sandro Siproshvili in the chief support to Zaveck vs Delgado February 18 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Czech Lubos Suda has been stripped of the EU title for failure to go through with his mandatory defence against Zakaria Azzaoui. Suda was simply not happy with the purse and in effect gave up the title. Azzaoui will now face German champion Serdar Sahin for the vacant title with February 22 as deadline for purse bids or agreement.

Finnish heavyweight Robert Helenius and his father Kalle were pretty upset after reading Lamont Brewster´s statement that Robert had fought with tampered gloves when he stopped Brewster in Neubrandenburg last year. Kalle Helenius states he has the gloves at home ready for inspection at any time. Chris Meyer, General Manager of Sauerland Event, says Brewster and his team had every opportunity to check the gloves of his opponent before the fight. Helenius, 14-0, will fight again on April 2 and it´s rumored to be against a "name" opponent and not against Yakup Saglam as was previously planned.
