Devon Alexander (21-1, 13KOs) may want a rematch with Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11KOs), but he likely won't get it - at least not on HBO. The network is reportedly not interested in a return fight, at least not at the moment. Bradley won a ten round technical decision after Alexander, following a clash of heads, told the ringside doctor that he was unable to see from a damaged right eye. The fight took place at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan and Bradley unified the WBO/WBC 140-pound titles.

There is a rematch clause in the contract and Alexander has expressed his desire to exercise the clause. Prior to their fight, both boxers were guaranteed future appearances on HBO, so Alexander is still going to benefit regardless. The fight did not live up to hype and the action was non-existent due to a clash of styles.
