Ricky Hatton’s potential comeback card on November 24 at the MEN Arena would showcase the cream of talent from the boxer/promoter/trainer’s star-studded stable as the top man himself fights for the first time in three years.

According to the Manchester Evening News today, Martin Murray will provide back-up to the ‘Hitman’ in a world middleweight title bout, whilst super-bantamweights Scott Quigg and Rendall Munroe will try again for the interim WBA belt after their contest in June ended with a clash of heads.

Former British lightweight champion Anthony Crolla is another fighter rumoured to be in-line to feature, with some of Hatton’s younger talent also in line to fight on what would be the biggest night of their careers so far.

Murray, 29, has been linked to a European title bout with Frenchman Julien Saint-Marie and whether that fight will be bumped up to world title status, or a new foe will come in for the contest is yet to be confirmed.

Quigg and Munroe meanwhile, fought out what was warming up to be an entertaining-looking contest at the Manchester Velodrome on Hatton’s final televised card with Sky Sports three months ago and a return fight will also be a welcome addition, whilst Crolla takes part in the Prizefighter tournament next month and his performance in Liverpool may determine his participation in the event.
