Roy Jones Jr. Boxing and Greg Cohen Promotions return to the city of Tucson, Arizona for a triple header LIVE on CBS Sports Network on Friday, May 20 at Casino Del Sol Resort.
On Friday, May 20, #14 WBA contender Hanzel Martinez from Tijuana, Mexico will headline the CBS Sports Network show when he takes on Isaac Nettey of Accra, Ghana for the NABAUS Super Bantamweight Championship.
Martinez: “I want to fight the best 122lbs fighters in the world, Carl Frampton, Scott Quigg, Hugo Ruiz, Julio Ceja and even a fight with Diego De La Hoya I'm READY! I spar with WBA Featherweight Word Champion, Leo Santa Cruz and with the proper preparation I'll be ready and prepared for any one at 122lbs”.
Opening the broadcast will be undefeated and newly signed Emmanuel “Renegade” Robles (140) from San Diego, CA in an 8rd super lightweight bout. Robles will take on a son of a Mexican legend when he squares off against “Pipino” Cuevas Jr. of Mexico City, Mexico.
Robles, once held the WBC Latino Championship and holds impressive victories over Leon Spinks III, Wilberth Lopez, Jonathan Chicas and former Cuban National Champion Yordenis Ugas.
