Stuart Hall is very confident after getting the home advantage against undefeated Randy Caballero, who collide for the IBF bantamweight championship. Hall's promoter, Denis Hobson, outbid Golden Boy Promotions to secure the promotional rights to the fight, which is being targeted for September or October.

The venue will likely be the Newcastle Arena. Hall lost the belt in his second defense to Paul Butler in June by split decision. Butler then vacated and moved back down in weight.

Hall said to Trinity Mirror North East: “Caballero will be thinking he is going to come over here and do a number on me, but I’m up for it right now. I’m going to go to war, like I did against (Vusi) Malinga when I won the title. I’m going to be at it from the first bell and give Caballero the hardest first round of his life and keep on going. It’s going to be a fireworks fight for the fans.”
