Promoter Rodney Berman of Golden Gloves has announced that WBA/IBO strawweight champion Hekkie Budler (27-1, 9KOs) will defend his titles against mandatory challenger and former interim-champion Jesus Silvestre (30-5, 22KOs) on February 21 in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The fight is going take place as part of the undercard to the middleweight collision between WBA/IBO/WBC interim-champion Gennady Golovkin and British challenger Martin Murray.

Silvestre is tough, losing three very close decisions over the last few years. The last time he was decisively beaten was in 2010, when he was knocked out in ten by Filipino sensation Donnie Nietes.
