BoxingScene.com has confirmed that an IBF middleweight eliminator between middleweight contenders Eamon O'Kane (14-1-1, 5KOs) and Tureano Johnson (18-1, 13KOs) has been added to the Gennady Golovkin vs. David Lemieux undercard at the Madison Square Garden on October 17th.

"The fight is done," confirmed Gary Shaw, who for the past few years has promoted Johnson. "Both sides have agreed, the contracts have been sent to the IBF. The IBF has sanctioned it."

O'Kane-Johnson, which is a meeting between the two top rated contenders in the IBF middleweight rankings, will set the next mandatory challenger to the belt. Currently, that title is held by Lemieux.

Also on this pay-per-view undercard is a bout between WBC flyweight titlist Roman Gonzalez and dangerous challenger Brian Viloria. A heavyweight contest between Luis Ortiz and Bermane Stiverne has also been rumored as a possibility to be a part of this show.
