The biggest fight of Glen Tapia’s four-year professional boxing career has been scheduled for June 14.

Tapia, an undefeated 154-pound prospect from Passaic, has agreed to box unbeaten Abraham Han that night in a 10-round fight in Las Vegas. ESPN2 will televise the fight from South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa as the opening bout of a "Friday Night Fights" doubleheader.

Tapia (18-0, 10 KOs) and Han (19-0, 12 KOs), of El Paso, Texas, have developed against similar levels of opposition offered by Bob Arum’s Top Rank Inc., which promotes them. But both boxers jumped at the chance to knock off an undefeated fighter on national television.

"This is a great opportunity," Tapia, 23, said. "This is what I’ve been waiting for. This is the make-or-break fight for me. This is what champions are made of. This is what we’ve got to go through to be on that next level. This is the type of fight to show people if we’re here to stay or not.
