Lightweight Gabriel Flores Jr. and Ronal Ron are set for Saturday and the first-ever fight at Banner Island Ballpark, home of the Stockton (California) Ports.

Flores (23-2, 8 KOs), 24, from Stockton, weighed in at 134.8 pounds. Ron (14-6, 11 KOs), 27, hailing from Chino Hills, California, by way of Venezuela, weighed in at 134.4 pounds.

This marks Flores’ third consecutive fight in Stockton, where he most recently bested then-undefeated Julian Rodarte (19-1-2, 8 KOs), 28, of Downey, California, who will appear in the co-featured bout.

Ron enters on a three-fight losing streak, his most recent bout ending in a defeat against rising prospect Abdullah Mason, who stopped Ron in four rounds.

In the co-feature, lightweight Rodarte initially weighed in at 134.4 pounds, while his opponent, Andrew Rodgers (8-13-2, 3 KOs), 32, from Elkhart, Indiana, surpassed the limit at 140 pounds. Rodarte seeks to recover from his first career loss (to Flores), while Rodgers aims to build on recent successes, including a draw with Tobias Green this month in Nashville and a knockout victory over Samuel Teah in 2023, as well wins over regional contenders Willie Shaw, Thomas Velasquez and Greg Outlaw. A weigh-in will be conducted in the morning for the bout to continue.

Junior welterweight Steve Canela's professional debut was postponed by G-Squad Entertainment officials due to last-minute changes. Canela’s scheduled opponent, Pedro Pinillo, substituted for Adam Hatch, fought David Lopez in Atlanta last Friday, leading to their bout being converted to an exhibition match.

On the undercard, Alejandro Robles came in 0.8 pounds overweight for his bout, and took the fine for his fight against undefeated Andrew Rodriguez.

The card will be broadcast on BLK Prime.
