The fight didn’t go to the scorecards — it ended on a cut in the 10th round — but Gabriel Rosado was nonetheless upset about the judging in his technical knockout loss this past Saturday to Peter Quillin.

Judge Kason Cheeks had it a shutout for Quillin after nine rounds, at 90-80. Waleska Roldan gave only the fourth round to Rosado and had Quillin ahead 89-81. Ronald McNair gave rounds four, six and eight to Rosado and had Quillin ahead 87-83.

A judge giving him no rounds and another giving him one round was “a disgrace,” Rosado said at the post-fight press conference. “Those judges deserve to be suspended.

“We need a change in this sport,” he said. “Judges are ruining fighters’ lives. I live and breathe boxing. I deserve a fair shot. If I would’ve dropped Peter in the last three rounds, I still would’ve lost the fight on points. That’s how crazy the scoring was.”
