IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18KOs) will make his next defense against Wladimir Klitschko, according to the champion's promoter Mick Hennessy.

Last November, Fury pulled off a stunner with a twelve round unanimous decision victory over Klitschko to capture the heavyweight titles. It was recognized by most outlets as the "upset of the year" for 2015.

There was a contractual stipulation in the bout agreement which allowed Klitschko to exercise a clause for an immediate rematch. Fury is prevented from taking any interim bouts without Klitschko's approval.

Fury lost the IBF's version of the title after being unable, due to the rematch clause, to make a mandatory defense against Czar Glazkov. The belt was picked up in January by Charles Martin, who stopped Glazkov in three rounds. Martin will defend the title next month against Fury's countryman Anthony Joshua at the O2 Arena in London.

In the last two weeks there was some confusion over who Fury would fight after the unbeaten champ stated that he wasn't exactly sure if Klitschko would be his next opponent. Fury even hinted at fighting other opponents and going into a unification with WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

Hennessy says there is no question that a rematch with Klitschko will be the next outing.

"It's definitely Wladimir in the rematch, 100 percent. That's the fight that we want and for us, it's the only fight and the main fight in the heavyweight division," Hennessy told Sky Sports.

"They are the two biggest heavyweights and I know there is a lot more splintered titles and a lot of people fighting for them and calling it the heavyweight championship, but there's only lineal champion and that's Tyson Fury. He is the real deal and the main man in the division and that's who it should all be about."
