Trainer Freddie Roach and cruiserweight BJ Flores worked the NBC telecast on Saturday night at the Sands Resort in Bethlehem, PA. Both of them felt the rematch between Tomasz Adamek and Steve Cunningham was close, but they saw Cunningham as the winner. Adamek-Cunningham was initially announced as a draw, but then a scoring change made Adamek the winner. The scores were 116-112, 115-113 for Adamek and 115-113 for Cunningham.

Roach - "It was great fight. A tremendous fight. Both guys fought their hearts out. It was a close fight. They changed the decision, first it was a draw and then it went to Adamek. It was a great fight, great for boxing. I'm not a good judge, I don't score the fights. I just sit back and enjoy them."

Flores - "I had Cunningham winning seven rounds to five. Adamek was tough, he came forward but Cunningham landed the cleaner, more effective punches. All the front row, all the press had Cunningham winning by more than that. I had a it a little tight. When they first announced a draw..I was like [shrugs shoulders]..it was kind of sour, but then when they overruled the decision [and gave it to Adamek], nobody likes to see that. You want the right guy to win the fight."
