Hartwall Arena, Helsinki, Finland - Trainer Freddie Roach, who watched the heavyweight battle between Robert Helenius (17-0, 11KOs) and Dereck Chisora (16-2, 9KOs) was very upset with the outcome. Chisora appeared to many as the clear winner, including Roach, but the official judges gave Helenius a close split decision victory and the vacant EBU heavyweight title. The scores were 115-113 for Helenius, 115-113 for Chisora and 115-113 for Helenius.

"It's amazing that [Helenius] can say that he won that fight, in my opinion. He said he won the fight, but now he's making excuses that he hurt his right hand in the first round. Maybe he just had an off-night, but the decision was just terrible. That really hurts our sport. It shouldn't happen, but that's life. Maybe he hurt his right hand. Maybe he had an off-night. Maybe they can do a rematch in England and we'll have a different result," Roach said.
