José "Olivaritos" Morales, father and coach of former three division champion Erik "Terrible" Morales, said his son had the proper training at the Otomi Ceremonial Center  and should be fully capable of winning a fourth divisional world title in on September 17 in Las Vegas against Argentina's Lucas Matthysee front.

"We worked for six weeks and we're almost ready for the date. The Argentine fighter is always coming forward, and throws a lot of punches. This is a battle of youth against experience. Lucas has the youth and I think Erik should have no problem in terms of boxing, quality and experience, and Lucas does not have much experience," Jose Morales said.

"The style of Lucas suits Erik, as he likes to fight so you will see a great match without the dirty tricks like there were with his countryman [Maidana]."

Jose Morales is a bit worried about the judges - "the judges must take a good look at the fight and see who really won it. As in the previous two decisions [in title fights], they left a lot to be desired, one of them in another division [against David Diaz] and the other at super lightweight."
