Undefeated junior middleweight Eliezer 'Waa' Gonzalez is having problems getting opponents in Puerto Rico. The boxer has been forced to emigrate to the Dominican Republic where he already knocked out three opponents to improve his record to 12-0 with seven knockouts.

"Nobody wants to fight him in Puerto. And that's why we had to take him to Santo Domingo. If [Javier] Bustillo can bring the guy who lasted the distance Butter González, we'll fight Richard Gutierrez. Waa has improved a lot and he is in great condition, and is hitting a lot of boxing, there are many who are pulling the body," said his manager Miguel Sansu.

Gonzalez, 24, has knocked out five of his last six opponents, including four in a row. Sansur hopes that his protégé will return to action in August or September and he doesn't rule a fight in Puerto Rico on a Universal Promotions card.

"Bustillo is our promoter and we hope that he can get us a quality opponent. Eliezer is ready to face better opponents," he said.
