Undefeated junior middleweight Eliezer 'Waa' Gonzalez, who is scheduled to fight on August 19 on a card being put together by Universal Promotions in Ponce, Puerto Rico, would like to fight boxers like Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, the WBC champion at 154 pounds, and Miguel Cotto, the junior middleweight king of the WBA - in the future - but feels that he might be ready to face former champions like Carlos 'El Indio' Quintana and Kermit Cintron by the end of the year.

"If my managers make the fight and the fight brings good money, I'm there. Cotto and Canelo] are good fights for the future, maybe after I have 17 or 18 fights," Gonzalez said.

Gonzalez, witha record of 12-0 and 7 knockouts, is ready for bigger things in the immediate future.

"I saw Cintron in his last where he lost [against Carlos Molina] and I'll face him if there is a good purse, as well as Quintana. If Cintron or Quintana is available by year-end or early 2012, I'll fight with either of them. There has to be negotiations with my managers and my promoter. We have to find the big names," Gonzalez said.
