Former champion Edgar Sosa (43-6, 26KOs) of Mexico is changing up his training schedule to prepare for the time zone switch, as he must travel to Bangkok, Thailand on the third week of October to challenge southpaw WBC flyweight champion Pongsaklek Wonjongkam (82-3-1, 45KOs).

Sosa has been sparring daily for eight rounds with left-handed boxers. His gym work includes three rounds of mitts, two on the bag, and several other exercises to build his endurance.

Besides the hard work in the gym, Sosa has been going through a strength and conditioning program, which the Mexican veteran promises will help him make the contracted weight much easier than he's done in the past.
