Welterweight Ed Brown will fight Roberto Acevedo tonight, promoter Lou DiBella and matchmaker/ publicist Emily Pandelakis confirmed to Boxingscene.com.

The eight round bout will take place at the UIC FORUM in Chicago, Ill.

The unbeaten Brown (18-0, 15 KOs) will be fighting for the third time in this year after fighting 13 times in 2016.

Brown, who resides in the Chicago area, won a six round unanimous decision over Gilbert Venegas in his last fight on July 30.

The victory snapped a streak where Brown knocked out five opponents in a row.

Acevedo (13-16-3, 1 KO) lost a one-sided six round decision to Luis Cruz on November 14. He has lost his last four bouts in a row.

The Brown-Acevedo fight is not scheduled to air on CBS Sports Network (9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT), but could wind up as a swing bout on the broadcast.

In the main event, light heavyweight Mike Lee (17-0, 10 KOs) squares off in a 12 round bout against Chris Traietti (21-3, 17 KOs).

Alejandro 'Payasito' Hernandez faces Emmanuel Dominguez tonight at the Auditorio Blackberry in Mexico City, DF, Mexico.

The 10 round bout will air on Telemundo, beginning at 11:35 pm ET/ PT.

Hernandez (31-11-2, 16 KOs) has won his last three bouts and six of his last seven bouts.

His most recent loss was to Tomoki Kameda by split decision in October of 2014, a fight where some believe Hernandez did enough to win.

Hernandez resides in the Mexico City area.

Dominguez (18-5-2, 12 KOs) has lost once in his last nine bouts.

In an eight round flyweight bout, Hugo Guarneros (9-1, 6 KOs) will face Zacarias Medina (2-2, 2 KOs).
