Sport Complex Krylatskoe, Moscow, Russia - WBO middleweight champion Dmitry Pirog (20-0, 15KOs) retained his title with a hard-fought twelve round unanimous decision over Nobuhiro Ishida (24-8-2, 9KOs). The scores were 119-109, 120-108 and 118-111.

They stood in close, trading punches in a technical fight. Pirog was landing the harder shots, but he was having trouble with Ishida's ability to throw numerous punches in bunches. By the tenth round it was all-Pirog, who started punishing Ishida with hard punches to the head and body. Pirog tried to finish Ishida off in the final two rounds, but the Japanese boxer displayed his iron chin by taking the incoming punches and even answering back with some punches of his own.

Rising heavyweight prospect Vyacheslav Glazkov (12-0, 9KOs) stopped Gbenga Oloukun (19-8, 12KOs) in the seventh round. Glazkov controlled the fight and dropped Oloukun in the seventh round with a hard left hook to the body. Oloukun took a long time to make it to his feet and the referee waved it off.

Cruiserweight prospect Dmitry Kudryashov (5-0, 5KOs) destroyed debut boxer Oleksiy Varagushyn (0-1) in the first round.
