As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, WBA "regular" super middleweight champion Dimitri Sartison suffered a serious injury and is going to withdraw from his hotly anticipated unification with WBO king Robert Stieglitz, which is scheduled for April 9 in Magdeburg. The injury has now been confirmed. It appears Sartison suffered a very serious knee injury during training. Stieglitz is still going to defend the title on April 9 but the replacement has yet to be established. Sartison is expected to be out for six months.
