As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Billy Dib has landed his sought after world title rematch and a chance for revenge against Evgeny Gradovich on a massive card in China in November.

Dib lost the IBF featherweight title on a split points decision to the California-based Russian in Connecticut back in March in his third title defence.

The Dib camp, headed by his promoter and high-profile rapper 50 Cent, invoked the rematch clause after Gradovich won his mandatory defence against Mauricio Munoz in Macao in July.

Gradovich will head back to Macao for his rematch with Dib on November 23, on a card featuring Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao's WBO International welterweight title bout with Brandon Rios.

Because pay TV network HBO will beam the card live to the United States at a fan-friendly time for that country, Dib's bout could start around 9am local time in Australia.

However, Dib's brother and manager Emaid said fighting out of a similar time zone to Australia and not having to go all the way to America worked in his sibling's favour.

"Billy knows the mistakes he made (in his first fight with Gradovich)," Emaid Dib told AAP.

"We're very confident he'll bring the title back this time.

"There's a lot at stake ... this is a must-win fight.

"Gradovich is already talking about fighting Nonito Donaire in 2014 - he's already overlooking us.

"I haven't seen Billy this focused for a long time. He's got tunnel vision."

He said Dib would leave Australia around two weeks before the bout and have a training camp in another country before heading to China.

Dib (36-2, 21 KOs) has had one fight since losing to Gradovich (17-0, 8 KOs). He scored a majority points win over American Mike Oliver in Connecticut in early July.
