MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Tempers were raised when Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya was put on the spot regarding a potential rematch between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (44-1-1, 31KOs) and WBA 'regular' junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara (19-2-2, 12KOs).

On Saturday night, at a catch-weight of 155-pounds. Lara was tabbed as the winner by one judge with a card of 115-113, while the other two scores of 117-111 and 115-113 were ruled for Canelo - who walked away with his hand raised via split decision.

At the post-fight press conference, De La Hoya was asked about the possibility of a rematch.

"What I heard from everybody - they don't want a rematch. Nobody wants a rematch. Now, there's ten guys in line. Lara just lost and now he has to wait in line. There is ten guys in line. That's the way this works," De La Hoya said. "Canelo won tonight and now we have to move on."

Lara's co-manager, Luis DeCubas Jr., who was standing close to De La Hoya, became angry with the statements and started verbally jabbing Oscar with comments like - "he sounds like Don King, this guy sounds like Don King."

The final press conference ended soon after.
