Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York - In the main event of an HBO televised tripleheader, David Lemieux (33-2, 31KOs) breaks down and stopped Gabe Rosado (21-9, 13KOs) in the tenth round.

They started trading shots in the first. Lemieux was landing hard shots to the body early, and Rosado was landing better upstairs. Lemieux continued to press forward and he was looking for big shots to land to the head, but mostly was able to land to the body. In the third, Lemieux landed a real big shot on Rosado's left eye and that sent him down. Rosado beat the count but his left eye was in bad shape and swelling shut

Lemieux continued to come on in the fourth, looking to knock Rosado out. Rosado was able to battle back with shots of his own and even had Lemieux backing up by the end of the round as they were throwing bombs from all angles. The fifth was a more measured pace with Lemieux still having the edge.

By the eight, Lemieux was really slowing down but still winning the rounds. They continued to trade shots in the ninth, and it was Rosado who was getting in the better punches and doing more work.

Lemieux came out winging hard shots in the tenth and Rosado was barely throwing any punches. Rosado continued to take punishment and now his right eye was taking damage. The ringside doctor finally stepped on the ring mat and motioned to the referee to stop the contest.
