Former champion Daniel Ponce De Leon (41-3, 34KOs) was not happy with the scorecards presented by the judges on Saturday night at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Ponce De Leon lost a ten round unanimous decision to super featherweight Adrien Broner (20-0, 16KOs). The scores were 96-94, 96-94 and 99-91.

Ponce De Leon moved up in weight for the opportunity to face Broner. A win would have presented him with some lucrative opportunities. Ponce De Leon said he was never hurt in the contest and felt that he won most of the rounds.

"I felt the difference in the weight.  I am a 126-pound fighter and gave up a lot to fight at 130-pounds.  I didn't feel Broner's power and I believe that I won seven of the ten rounds," Ponce De Leon said.
