IBF middleweight champion Daniel Geale (25-1, 15KOs) will make the first defense of his title against Eromosele Albert (24-4-1, 12KOs) on August 31. The champion will have an entire arena filled with hometown supporters at the Derwent Entertainment Centre in Tasmania. Geale defends for the first time since defeating Sebastian Sylvester earlier this year. Albert has beaten a few notable opponents, like Yori Boy Campas, Lester Gonzalez, Daniel Edouard, Joaquin Zamora, Daniel Banks and had a draw with Ossie Duran. But, he was also knocked out in one round by James Kirkland in 2008.
