Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (31-1, 17 KOs) is doing everything possible to be at his very best on November 4 when he steps in in the ring in Kazan for a big showdown with Olympic gold medal winner Alexander Povetkin (29-1, 21 KOs).

Wach is now getting some good sparring as undefeated top contender Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov (21-0-1, 13 KOs) has arrived to help him out. Glazkov is looking to get some looks as well. The unbeaten Ukrainian is the IBF's mandatory challenger to the heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko, who faces Tyson Fury in November. Wach fought, and lost, to Klitschko in 2012.

Glazkov became the mandatory in mid-March when he defeated Steve Cunningham in a final IBF eliminator. He is well-known to Polish fans for his victory last year over Tomasz Adamek.

Glazkov recently arrived in Poland with coach Eduard Menczakowem and the first sparring session with Wach will be carried out on Wednesday.

Povetkin is the WBC's mandatory challenger to champion Deontay Wilder. A win could land Wach a world title shot.
