The clash between 115 lb. titlist Carlos Cuadras and former flyweight beltholder Luis Concepcion now has a home. The April 4 showdown will take place at a 5,000-seat venue in Metepec, Mexico.

Event handlers Promociones del Pueblo reaffirmed its previous claim of the evening's co-feature, with visiting junior flyweight contender Jonathan Taconing facing Ramon Garcia. The bout contradicts separate announcements from Puerto Rico insisting that Garcia will face McWilliams Arroyo on the undercard of the April 11 junior lightweight title fight between Orlando Salido and Rocky Martinez.

Cuadras (31-0-1, 25KOs) attempts the third defense of the alphabet title he acquired at home versus Srisaket Sor Rungvisai last May. His title winning effort and first defense both ended via injury, with accidental headbutts producing fight-ending cuts.

The most recent title defense by the unbeaten slugger from Mexico came last December, stopping Marvin Mabait in five rounds in Washington D.C. The bout marked Cuadras' first fight in the states and also his first title fight to boast a conclusive ending.

Concepcion (32-3, 23KOs) is a former flyweight titlist whose title reign ended in defeat, but also in thrilling fashion. An 11th round stoppage at the hands of Hernan 'Tyson' Marquez in April '11 was one of the best fights of 2011, with both fighters hitting the deck in a wild slugfest.

The rematch wasn't anywhere nearly as kind. Fighting outside of Panama for the first time in his career, Concepcion was drilled inside of a round in their Oct. '11 sequel in Mexico. Nine straight wins have followed, including a 7th round stoppage of Duvan Hernandez last August to earn the upcoming title fight.

Both bouts will air live on Televisa in Mexico.
