Anthony Crolla believes his best will be good enough when he stars in Prizefighter next Saturday. 'Million Dollar' enters the tournament as favourite and is on a revenge mission of sorts after he lost his British lightweight title to Derry Mathews earlier this year.

Mathews - who has since lost to Gavin Rees - has also entered Prizefighter and although they are not guaranteed to meet, it gives Crolla the chance to put the defeat behind him.

"It's nothing personal, it's just a job," he told Sky Sports. "We shake hands after and we might meet again next Saturday, and we'll shake hands again. We put on a great fight for the fans and hopefully we'll meet again next Saturday. If it happens a little bit of revenge would be nice, it's one of the things that made me want to go in it. But there's seven other good lads in this and I can't focus my mind on Derry.

"I've been preparing in LA for a couple of weeks, I've left nothing to chance and there'll be no excuses. You'll get the best of me and I'm thinking that's going to be enough."
