Cornhusker football is king in Nebraska.

The University of Nebraska is rich with college football tradition and capacity crowds are the norm in Lincoln, Nebraska whenever they play at home.

Omaha's native son Terence Crawford (31-0) will fight at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, home of the University of Nebraska's basketball team, tonight against Julius Indongo (22-0). All four major sanctioning bodies' belts will be on the line for the ESPN televised fight.

Lincoln is about a 60 mile drive from Omaha and over 10,000 fans are expected to be in attendance for the fight. This will be Crawford's fifth bout in Nebraska since becoming a world champion and all of those bouts have broken the 10,000 mark in attendance.

While that makes Crawford one do the top American draws in the sport, he has his eyes set on a much bigger goal. That goal is Memorial Stadium where the Cornhusker football team plays.

"Lincoln is a football city. If you watch Nebraska football play and you see how our state turn out each and every home game you will see how big it is. That is what I want for me and my fights. I want it to be as big as that. 80,000 people coming to each and every home game sold out. Who knows, maybe one day I can be able to fight in a football stadium," said Crawford.

A win over Indongo will bring him one step closer to his goal.
