Miguel Cotto, the WBC middleweight who is 34 years-old, appears to have found the 'Fountain of Youth' and boxing maturity since he hired the legendary trainer Freddie Roach, whose main fighter is Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao. Cotto gives all of the  credit for his career catching a second wind to Roach.

"Freddie is the person responsible for the way Miguel Cotto has resumed his career. He is dedicated to bringing out the best in me, the best that I have. Since we came to the gym on the first day, we were more than willing to work hard and improve what we have to improve and make the adjustments we have to do. Freddie's become the backbone of what makes Miguel Cotto today in his fights," Cotto said.

He added that there is nothing scientific in his training and that he is only dedicated to working hard with Roach in Los Angeles.

Cotto will defend his title on Nov. 21 at the Mandalay Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, against Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, former holder of the WBA and WBC junior middleweight title. The fight takes place at a catch weight of 155 pounds.

"My best weapon to defeat Alvarez is called Freddie Roach. At 34 years I'm doing things I never thought I could do. I will get to Los Angeles with full confidence with Freddie and he knows that on November 21 when I step into the ring there will be trust on both sides to get the win," Cotto said.

"He is what has made the fights come off in the way they have been. And Freddie has a documented work plan in his head and as soon we get to Los Angeles we'll begin the work for Canelo. Freddie has a disease called Parkinson's. For 21 years he's lived with the disease and no matter how well he keeps it under control every day, I have never seen a complaint. And that has influenced me to give my best."
