The WBA has ordered "regular" flyweight champion Luis "El Nica" Concepcion (22-1, 17KOs) of Panama to face interim-champion Jean Piero Perez (18-3, 13KOs) of Venezuela in the next six months. The fight has to happen within six months of January 29, which is the date Perez won the interim-belt with a decision over Jesus Jiminez in Mexico. The WBA noted a direct conflict because both boxers have their careers managed by Rogelio Espiño, and because of that the sanctioning body has allowed such a long time period to get the fight done.
